Mortigo is a Dubai-based, AI-powered mortgage brokerage. We combine AI-assisted lender matching with human advisors to help applicants navigate suitable products from our participating lender panel.
When Kunal Sharma arrived in Dubai in January 2025, he did what countless expats do every year — he started dreaming about owning property here. And like most of them, he quickly ran into the same wall: a mortgage process that felt designed for someone else. Endless paperwork. Conflicting advice. Banks that spoke in jargon. Weeks of waiting with no clarity on where things stood.
Kunal didn't have a decade in UAE finance. He had something different — years in sales, an obsession with the customer experience, and a clear vision of what this process should feel like. So instead of complaining about it, he built Mortigo.
What we set out to fix.
Buying a home involves lender criteria, paperwork and unfamiliar terminology. Applicants can receive different product options depending on their profile and may find it difficult to compare rates, revert terms and total costs consistently.
We saw an opportunity to do something different: combine AI-powered processing with human support, and make the route from initial assessment to lender decision easier to understand.
